Imagine of a group of small well-decorated white villa lying up front of Kai Bae Beach that is about Siam Bay Resort. This new white villas were just completed in the mid 2005. I had been keeping my eyes on it since the first day of the construction. And they have done a great job.

Accommodations are separated into 2 wings, one is old style Koh Chang bungalow on the cliff, the other is the white villas I mentioned in the beginning. Nice swimming pool with the view of Kai Bae beach is well located in the resort. And by side the swimming pool is the restaurant. I have never tried anything at the restaurant, so could not have any comment on it (sorry for all readers).

There is nothing much about the landscape and gardening. In my sense, they could have better. Only the transportation here is what I found difficult for the resorts guest as it is located in the south of Kai Bae Beach and not by side the main road. To Get to Kai Bae center point is 10-15 mins on foot or 3 mins by local cab. Renting a motorbike is the good idea if you are not expecting to spend your whole vacation at the resort as to get to White Sand Beach it's about 20-25 minutes by cars, but make sure that you can get away from all busy or crowded.
