Opened in the late 2004 (probably in October), Ramayana Resort and Spa is one of the boutique resort representing contemporary tropical style. For all the resort and hotel in Koh Chang which I have been through, this is probably the best resort in Koh Chang in term of landscape gardening. To be honest, the resort is not on the beach but the resort offers transfer to their own private beach (schedule transfer, every half and hour) which is in the same Klong Prao area which takes about 3-5 minutes.

I am pretty sure that when you walk through the resort you will feel that everything is going on the same direction, concept and style. When compared with other resort at the same price, Ramayana does quite well in term of service and others. I have been receiving many comments from the guests they are quite impressed with what they experience during their stay. I have just talked to the resort manager last week and he took me to see the new resort under the same ownership (THE DEWA Koh Chang) being built right now.

He told me that it is going to be completed by the march 2007. Guess what??? When I saw the mock-up room, all I can say is that it is a great unique man!!! I am sure that this going to make some noise .Anyway, it locates on the Klong Prao beach near Amari Emerald Cove. Good on me, I have been invited for the inspection when it is completed.
