Magic resort is owner by real local family. The resort has been developed through out about a decade; this includes some new bungalows that were just built in for past few years. Nice and friendly staffs but quite lack English communication skills. Nice beach (same beach as Amari Emerald Cove) and good food (good price too) are available here. Decoration is just fine. If you are wondering what on the beach restaurant in Koh Chang look like, then take a look at the resort photo. Within a walking distance (3-5 mins) to Kai Bae beach and reasonable pricing, Magic resort is not the bad choice at all. There is one thing that I almost forgot to mention the resort provides accommodation for 4 people which suit a family size. This is also recommended if a family is traveling to Koh Chang.
