Run and operated by one of the local families, MAC resort has the same history as KC Grande. Concreter boxes are the bottom line. For my review, I would like to put MAC resort as one of the boutique hotels in White Sand beach. Do you believe that there are few boutique resorts in White Sand beach, Koh Chang? It is the truth!!! A boutique resort in my sense is the small resort offering unique concept and at the same time meet quality standard in term of service and architecture design (when you walk in the resort, you can feel that everything is going on the same way).

Materials used do not have to be expensive but match the concept. You've just everything in the rooms - satellite TV, hot water, mini-bar etc and outside there's a beachfront pool too. One thing to keep in mind, to be honest, MAC resort locates next door to sabay bar (very popular bar with live band and expensive drink charge). If privacy is your first priority, do not take this resort. Love hanging out at night, then YES. Noises depend on which room you get. Beach here at the resort is ok but gets packed or may be too crowded sometimes in the high season period.
