This is also one of the first age resorts of Koh Chang. If you do have a chance to ask Thais what they can imagine of Koh Chang or any resort they can think of.
Koh Chang Resort and Spa is what you are expecting here. The main building was built up in 2002-2003. You may be in doubt if you stay here at the resort as you must see bungalows and building in different styles as they were built in different eras. As the price suggest, you can expect a comfortable bed and a good beach. Not a boutique, not a hip, not a chic and not a modern decorative style but the resort is selling beach accommodation with breakfast for the reasonable price. If the resort meets your budget, take it as one of your choices.
I also recommend this resort for family travelers. The restaurant is ok in term of price and taste. If you are to book the resort, you might sometimes experience Thai tour group as the resort can offer good price and theyve got enough accommodations to take care of the tour group. It is going to be busy and noisy sometimes but not all the time. At least, it is better than White Sand beach in term of privacy.
