If you were at Koh Chang about 2 years ago, you would not see the today’s Cookies Hotel. Time Change, things change. Good location on the real center of whitesand beach with easy access to all what you might need bar, ATM, 7-11, pharmacy and etc. That is what I might think when talking about Cookies Hotel. Two years ago, the hotel was a small separated cottage on the whitesand beach with the blue old fashioned roof. But today that old cookie has gone. Replaced by the low-rise building style, the hotel has 2 wings one is on the beach; the other is on the roadside. Don’t worry, all the construction was completed in the early 2006. Swimming pool is by the sea. If you are budget travelers, take the roadside wing as you can walk across the road to take your sunbath on the other wing. The down point here for the hotel is that the staffs were lack English communication skills. In the evening, if you do not want to move, then try the resort restaurant (beach BBQ). I had my dinner there more than 30 times for the past few years. The food is above average within the reasonable price.
