This is the resort that I am quite used to as I once spent 2 weeks at the resorts in 2003. the separated lovely bungalows by the riverside (Klong makok) in the center of Klong Prao is the location of the resort. For the beach access, you have to walk across the small wooden bridge approximately about 100 meters from the resort. Compared with the same size or the same price bungalow in Koh Chang, Blue lagoon seems to have better concept, style and decoration. You can not find 4-5 stars service here but I am pretty sure that they are friendly. Price is reasonable for the long-stay guest or for the backpackers. To access the public facilities, I would recommend you to rent a motorbike or the walk 100-150 meters to the main road and take the cap (two-row). It's by car about 10 minutes to the whitesand beach and 5 minutes to kaibae beach. One thing to mention, blue lagoon offer the Thai cooking course if you are interested.
