This resort locates in the south end of White Sand beach. I would like to briefly tell you about the resort. These two hotels seem to be brother and sister. In 2003, Koh Chang Hillside was built and completed. The resort locates on the inland side of the road. You might imagine standard hotel (low-rise) with hot/cold water and swimming pool, nothing much special. Later on in 2005, on the other side of the road (beachfront area), Chang Buri was being built in the villa style. There are roughly about 25 villas here at Chang Buri. Swimming pool is nice and big enough to take care of all guests if the hotel runs at 60-70 percent. I would give Koh Chang Hillside 3 stars and 3.75 for Chang Buri.

This year in August 2006, they just get together under the name of Chang Buri Resort and Spa (Koh Chang Hillside will turn to be Hillside wing for Chang Buri). Hotel facilities are fine here. You can have everything all set. Forget to mention that Chang Buri is one of the few resorts in Koh Chang that provide pool villa for guest accommodation. On your less than 5 minutes walk, you will get yourself to the center of White Sand beach. For my point of view, it is not the bad idea to look at this hotel. In term of service standard, it ok here.
