There are quite few resorts and hotels in Koh Chang that meet standard (usual hotel standard: room, concept, design and etc.) in my sense. Aiyapura resort and spa is one of them. For the location of the resort it is quite perfect in term of privacy and view. To be honest, the resort itself locates on the Klong Son bay but the beach is not sandy in actuality. The resort itself has positioned to be 5 stars but in reality it should be 4 at a push. For the style of the resort, I would say ‘Thai Contemporary”.

Breakfast is fine and above average here. The great view over the scenic of Klong Son Bay is what you can expect for your stay. There are no other resorts nearby. It is about 4 kilometers from here to White Sand beach with a huge hill in between. The easiest way to travel from Aiyapura is by renting a motorbike or take local cab or to use resort transfer. Then it is fine if you want to relax 24/7 but perhaps not so good if you're to hanging around and look forward to enjoy your nightlife.
