Trat province cooperates with private sector to arrange world music festival and fruit festival on 15 – 19 May 2008. Mr. Kaenphet Choungrunksee, Trat Provincial Governor; says that Trat local organization and Mr. Todd Tongdee Lavell from Lavell Entertainment Co., Ltd. will co-operate to organize a world music festival and fruit festival on 15 – 19 May 2008 in Koh Chang.

This is an objective to promote tourism in Koh Chang by using this music festival to connect with local economy. Another purpose is to also exchange culture in musical, art & culture in Koh Chang with various nations. Apart from the show from different nations and the local youth show, a local culture, there will also be booths for various seafood and fruits.

We are expecting a high volume of overseas tourist and Thai residents to attend this event that will boost Trat province's fame.  This event will also help support the fruit, goods and products Trat region offers.  This fruit event will be held at the yard in front of the city hall between 17-19 May 2008.
